New Bern, North Carolina: biggest barbecue bun, Guinness Book of World Records authentication ceremony, July 4th, 2010. Made by Moore's Barbecue of New Bern, NC. The July 4th festivities kicked off in Union Point Park with Tommy Moore and his team creating a Guinness World Record - World's Largest Barbeque Bun. The bun weighed in at 1,336 pounds and fed more than 2,000 people! NC Governor Beverly Perdue, NC Representative Alice Graham Underhill, New Bern’s Mayor Lee Bettis, Thomas Jefferson (reenacted) and Linda Staunch, were some of New Bern’s most notable figures to join the Towns 300th Anniversary festivities. Tommy and his crew worked vigorously as they topped the bun with barbeque and coleslaw to have it ready to serve the hungary crowd. It was truly an Independence Day that will go down in the history of NC's First Capitol And Birthplace of Both Cheerwine AND Most Noteably...Brad's Drink (aka; PEPSI-Cola) Massive Congrats to Tommy Moore, and his hard working...family, friends, employees (and US Marine Corp.-who got 1st dibs on the ribs...lol)

(SEGA is planning to unveil an Online streaming device using RingWide hardware which will compete against the Wii and sell for $150.
